Covers topics such as public interest immunity, proprietary estoppel and Freedom of Information Act 2000. Usually 4-5 issues per year. • [947] The Law Commission – Is an advisory body to the English legislature. They prepare lengthy and detailed proposition to change or up-date certain areas of the law. Mainly criminal and land law. Their proposals are very well researched. Excellent research tool. Free downloadable PDF files, but ATTENTION the files are VERY large and their proposals are several hundered pages long on occasion. • [948] RAVE – Maintained by Prof.Dr. R. Alexander Lorz, LL.M.,Law Faculty of the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. Public International and European law. RAVE is a data base that covers recent publications (articles and decisions) in Public International law and European law by listing them systematically and providing their citations...In addition it permits, via hyper links, direct access to relevant material published on the WWW (judicial decisions, national statutes, documents of international organizations and full-text articles). • [950] Jurist EU – hosted by the Law Faculty at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.Once again a very young offspring from the Jurist US. Duplicates some of the official EU sites already covered elsewhere on this server. However, Jurist EU covers the ECJ (of course), but also the Milosovic Trial for example. Apparently there are also plans to create Jurists for most European states. This site will probably grow nicely and become very useful. So, "watch this space!"
